The US Navy in 1968 allowed me to chase
GOD's lightning inside GOD's Microprocessor;
President Carter told the Pentagon to
stop being the TAXPAYERS' oppressor !

Hup, two, three and four;
Eisenhower told us that
the military-industrial complex is a big bore !

JFK beat nixon and we were out of Vietnam in 1965;
Johnson's 1963 Dallas made the USA take a dive !

Safely from above in a warbird, war-criminal bUSH
shot up Japanese sailors in life rafts;
Senile rAYGUN almost was planted
in his 1981 grave by big oil's Hinkley nerd !

The punk's lawyers stole Florida from Veteran Gore;
bUSH’s punk son wants Arabs hung by
adjudication of secret military courts;
GOD is seriously considering
which way the hope of 1776 aborts !
Judge not, that ye be not judged !
May GOD have mercy on all of us ?

Best Blessing

Lately, I've been jealous of poets
writing about love;
From deep inside, I have not heard
from my dove.

All around us is the inept war on drugs;
Look at frowns on parents' mugs.

Violence and gangs create lethal strife;
50% divorce and junk bonds
loosens embrace of husband and wife.

Best for your soul is being blessed with
a pregnancy giving you a baby;
For parents, getting into Heaven
is almost never a maybe.

Son or daughter, I have no preference;
10 fingers and 10 toes plus algebra
should be the standard reference.

You are sometimes blessed with an unwanted kid;
Training a child to want
their parents' hug reverses a nasty skid.

When a smart kid begins best forever
of fitting into his home;
Love replaces the parents slamming
their child into the dust -- unneeded & alone.

To Carry, Mario, Jenny, and Ruth;
The pain of losing you is not a fun truth !

May God have mercy on us ?
